Introduction

LowerShelf Games is a free DIY (Do it Yourself) game sharing website.

The site was created with the intention to bring friends, families, and strangers together.

What does that mean?

The platform is designed to help players learn how to play games that are typically shared among groups by "word of mouth".

Games such as:

Well Known Games: Common games such as charades, pong, and spoons are all games “everybody” knows, but the rules or directions may have slipped your mind. That is where LowerShelf can help!

Unique Games: Something that you realize when you meet new people, is that they are typically able to share a game with you that you have never played. And maybe you want to! That is where LowerShelf can help!

The Site also Strives for:

Accessibility: LowerShelf is also based around accessibility. The “LowerShelf” is a metaphor to show how accessible games and entertainment can be. The site produces games in which only typical household items would be used.

Community: In addition to being a website, LowerShelf Games is nothing without its community. The website relies on “Shelfers” to share games they have created and/or played in their lifetime .
